Dongfeng Nissan N6 PHEV Officially Launched as “New Hybrid Force”

On 1 December, Dongfeng Nissan held the 2026 Nissan N6 launch event in Guangzhou.
At the show, the brand announced the first plug-in hybrid sedan under its Tianyan architecture.

The new model is named Dongfeng 2026 Nissan N6.
It targets the market as a “large-battery, ultra-comfort mid-to-high-end PHEV sedan.”

Currently, the N6 offers five trims: 180 Air, 180 Pro, 180 Max, 180 Max+ and 170 Max+ Flagship.
Official prices range from RMB 99,900 to 129,900, with limited-time offers from RMB 91,900.

“Two Trump Cards and Four Twos” Define a New PHEV Standard

Firstly, Dongfeng Nissan positions the 2026 Nissan N6 as a “new hybrid force.”
The model combines two trump cards and four “2” benchmarks for the PHEV segment.

The two trump cards are design appeal and extreme comfort.
Meanwhile, the four “2” benchmarks focus on energy efficiency and usability.

They include 2-point-something liter per 100 km challenge fuel use.
They also include a 20-kWh-plus battery with 180 km pure EV range.

Moreover, the N6 targets sub-20-minute mid-range fast charging.
Finally, it aims at annual energy costs under RMB 2,000 in specific test conditions.

As a result, Dongfeng Nissan believes the N6 can reset user expectations for PHEV sedans.

Award-Winning Exterior Design and Elegant Color Palette

From the outside, the N6 adopts a “Wind Trace Aesthetics” design language.
Its long, low stance approaches that of some C-segment luxury sedans.

This design has already won three international awards.
These include the CMF Design Award, the FDA Gold Award and the Muse Platinum Award.

At the front, the “wind-wing” headlights support intelligent light-language interaction.
In addition, adaptive high and low beams can reach 230 meters of lighting distance.

At the rear, the “hurricane eye” tail lights deliver a layered, three-dimensional effect.
Therefore, the N6 presents a strong visual identity day and night.

For paint, Dongfeng Nissan uses colors inspired by Chinese landscapes.
Customers can choose from six tones: Rizhao Gold, Fengxin Purple, Liuguang Silver, Obsidian Black, Rock Gray and Pearl White.

Each color, according to the brand, reflects a distinct Chinese visual mood.

Warm and Healthy Cabin with High-Quality Materials

Inside the N6, a 360-degree wraparound cockpit creates a homely feeling.
More than 85 percent of touchable surfaces use soft materials.

The seats use a self-developed “Creamy Texture” material.
Its fine grain aims to mimic high-end leather in both feel and appearance.

Furthermore, the entire interior has obtained mother-and-baby skin-friendly certification.
It also passed a China Automotive Technology and Research Center zero-formaldehyde certification.

As a result, the N6 targets families who care about health and low VOC levels.

The cabin comes in two main interior color schemes: ivory-like light tones and deep black.
Meanwhile, rose-gold and dark purple accent strips add a touch of luxury to the details.

2026 Nissan N6: Space and Comfort-“Big Sofa” Experience

In terms of packaging, the 2026 Nissan N6 boasts an 87 percent space utilization “household rate.”
This figure places it among segment leaders for usable cabin room.

At the front, the N6 uses AI zero-pressure cloud-mat seats, shared with the N7.
These seats integrate an adaptive posture AI algorithm and support OTA upgrades.

Therefore, the seat support characteristics can improve over time.
The seats also offer ventilation, heating and massage on higher trims.

At the rear, newly developed zero-pressure cloud-mat seats continue the comfort concept.
Thus, both front and rear passengers can enjoy a “million-level” sofa-like experience.

Additionally, the N6 uses chassis tuning inspired by the legendary GT-R’s comfort calibration side.
The suspension aims to filter bumps without losing basic body control.

Moreover, the hybrid powertrain delivers near-imperceptible transitions between EV and hybrid modes.
Together with All-Area Intelligent Anti-Motion-Sickness 2.0 technology, ride comfort improves further.

The cabin also targets library-level noise insulation, comparable to some premium cars.

2026 Nissan N6: “Four Twos” and a Guinness Record

To validate real-world efficiency, the N6 completed a cross-China fuel challenge.
The route lasted 28 days, crossing 30 provinces and covering more than 14,000 kilometers.

Test conditions included a 40-degree temperature range, seven terrain types and a 5,200-meter altitude difference.
Under these conditions, the N6 achieved 2.90 L/100 km fuel use.

This result earned a Guinness World Record for fuel-saving performance.
Consequently, the N6 backs up its “four twos” marketing claim with measured data.

CloudSmart Cockpit, Large Screen and Automotive AI Glasses

On the digital side, the N6 features the CloudSmart Cockpit.
The system combines the NISSAN OS platform with a Qualcomm 8775 automotive chipset.

In the center, a 15.6-inch 2.5K ultra-clear display serves as the main interface.
Users can enjoy tablet-like smooth interaction and rapid app response.

More innovatively, Dongfeng Nissan co-developed AI smart glasses with Rokid.
These glasses are claimed to be the world’s first mass-produced automotive AI glasses.

When worn, the glasses sync information with the vehicle in real time.
Navigation, speed and music information can float directly within the user’s field of view.

Therefore, driving can feel more immersive and futuristic, while still focusing on the road.

AI Voice Assistant “Xiao Ni” and Rich In-Car Entertainment

The N6 cabin also features an AI voice assistant named “Xiao Ni.”
This assistant integrates iFLYTEK Spark and DeepSeek reasoning large models.

Moreover, the system supports four-zone precise voice pickup for front and rear passengers.
It can understand continuous commands and natural dialogue, even with background noise.

In addition, Xiao Ni supports dialect interaction, including Sichuan and Cantonese accents.
Thus, both elders and children can speak in their hometown tones comfortably.

The entertainment package includes mic-free karaoke, voice cloning and smart scene modes.
Consequently, family journeys become more playful and engaging.

Advanced Driver Assistance with Momenta Cooperation

For driving assistance, the N6 uses an end-to-end combined system co-developed with Momenta.
The suite covers three main scenarios: highways, urban streets and parking.

On highways, navigation-assisted driving can handle ramps, lane changes and large-vehicle avoidance.
The system supports around ten complex highway scenarios automatically.

In cities, memory navigation can store 10 routes, each up to 100 kilometers long.
After one learning run, the car can repeat daily commutes with high automation.

For parking, the N6 offers all-scenario parking assistance.
It can enter 2.4-meter narrow spaces, perform memory parking and accept remote smartphone control.

Therefore, highway driving becomes less tiring, commuting feels easier and parking stress reduces significantly.

2026 Nissan N6: Safety, Battery Protection and Quality Assurance

Safety remains a core strength for Dongfeng Nissan as a central-enterprise joint venture.
The N6 brings four main reassurance pillars to protect passengers.

Firstly, the car addresses PHEV high-speed power-loss concerns.
It introduces anti-stall intelligent control technology, certified by CATARC as the first “no-stall PHEV.”

Secondly, the N6 uses the self-developed CloudShield battery.
This pack passed the industry’s first double-standard bottom impact test plus six extreme scraping tests.

Thirdly, the body adopts a high-strength cage structure.
Torsional rigidity reaches 35,738 Nm per degree, a leading figure in its class.

The N6 completed over 7,400 R&D tests, 5,500 trial-production checks and 2,000 whole-vehicle inspections.

As a result, Dongfeng Nissan aims to ensure long-term reliability and durability for every N6.

New Joint-Venture “New Energy Force” Line-Up

The launch of the N6 marks another step in Dongfeng Nissan’s smart electrification strategy.
Previously, the N7 pure EV has often led joint-venture pure-electric sales rankings.

Meanwhile, the Altima HarmonyOS Cabin has pushed fuel cars into a new intelligent era.
Together, N6, N7 and Altima HarmonyOS form a three-part “home” product family.

This line-up covers PHEV, pure electric and petrol powertrains.
Therefore, Dongfeng Nissan can address diverse mobility needs of Chinese families.

Although their energy forms differ, the models share one core gene.
They all emphasize strong intelligence and full-comfort experiences.

In conclusion, Dongfeng Nissan promotes the slogan: “For smart comfort, choose Dongfeng Nissan.”
With the N6, the brand enters the PHEV battlefield as a serious new competitor.
