On September 10, 2025, Changan officially unveiled the refreshed 2026 Changan Qiyuan A07. The lineup includes four models priced between ¥139,900 and ¥149,900. Built on the EPA1 platform, the upgrade focuses on longer range and faster charging. Notably, the pure electric version now delivers up to 730 km, while the range-extended model achieves 310 km electric range and 1,570 km combined range. All models support 3C fast charging as standard.
The Changan Qiyuan A07 maintains a stylish fastback design with frameless doors and a sporty roofline. Moreover, it adopts through-type LED lights and semi-hidden door handles for a modern touch. The drag coefficient is just 0.22Cd, ensuring better efficiency.
The body measures 4,905 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,480 mm in height, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase. Additionally, the pure electric version features an active grille for improved cooling. The SUV comes standard with 245/45 R19 tires, while an optional 74L front trunk adds more storage.
Inside the Qiyuan A07, minimalism meets futuristic design. The pure EV version removes the traditional instrument cluster, instead projecting key driving data onto the AR-HUD system. A 15.4-inch central touchscreen adds to the high-tech experience.
Additionally, the cabin runs on a Qualcomm 8155 chip, ensuring smooth operation. The Qiyuan OS supports Huawei HiCar, Carlink, Gaode navigation, and Bluetooth key sharing. Moreover, features like 4G connectivity, karaoke, and sentry mode enhance convenience. Safety is supported by L2 driver assistance, including adaptive cruise control and parking aid.
The Changan Qiyuan A07 offers heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats, creating a lounge-like driving experience. Furthermore, it features 16 premium speakers, 64-color ambient lighting, and advanced warning systems such as rear collision alerts, cross-traffic warning, and door opening alerts. As a result, long drives become more relaxing and enjoyable for every passenger.
The 2026 Qiyuan A07 comes in both pure electric and range-extended versions. The pure EV uses a rear-mounted motor producing 190 kW and 290 Nm torque. It pairs with a 77.94 kWh LFP battery, achieving 730 km range with just 12.5 kWh/100 km consumption.
The range-extended version combines a 1.5L engine with a 200 kW rear motor. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. Moreover, its 35.07 kWh LFP battery from CATL ensures 310 km electric range and 1,570 km combined range, with only 3.57 L/100 km fuel consumption. Both versions support 3C fast charging and a 6 kW external power supply, adding outdoor usability.
With its new long-range upgrade, the Changan Qiyuan A07 strengthens its position in the family EV segment. Its key competitors include the Dongfeng e007 starting at ¥115,900 and Nissan N7 starting at ¥119,900. However, the A07’s 730 km pure electric version provides a clear edge in range and practicality.
The 2026 Changan Qiyuan A07 continues its focus on design, comfort, and extended range. Its combination of a 730 km EV version and a 1,570 km range-extended version makes it versatile for both city commuting and long-distance driving. With competitive pricing and comprehensive features, the A07 is set to gain stronger market traction.
