On September 20, Avatr officially launched the 2026 Avatr 07 during its Strategy 2.0 event. The new SUV comes in six models, available as range-extended or pure electric versions. Pricing starts at ¥219,900 for the range-extended models and ¥229,900 for the EV versions. The launch positions Avatr 07 directly against rivals such as the Xiaomi YU7, Li Auto L6, Tesla Model Y, and AITO M5.
The 2026 Avatr 07 stands out in the crowded 200,000–300,000 RMB SUV segment. Unlike competitors that force compromises between range, intelligence, or luxury, Avatr 07 offers an all-around package. More importantly, it does so with many flagship features as standard.
The range-extended Avatr 07 introduces a 52 kWh CATL “Xiaoyao” hybrid battery. This enables an impressive CLTC pure electric range of 333 km. For most urban commuters, that means more than a week of daily driving without engaging the engine. The advanced battery also delays engine startup until 10% capacity, ensuring smooth pure electric driving.
In addition, the 5C super-fast charging system allows over 200 km of range in just ten minutes. This dramatically improves long-distance travel convenience. For cost-conscious buyers, Avatr also offers a rear-wheel-drive EV with a smaller 39.05 kWh battery, delivering 195 km pure electric range at an affordable entry price.
The EV versions are equally competitive. The dual-motor model outputs 440 kW and 645 Nm torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in only 3.9 seconds. The CLTC range is 650 km for the two-wheel drive and 610 km for the four-wheel drive.
Inside, the Avatr 07 maintains its minimalist design while adding new Rock Brown trim. The cabin features a 15.6-inch center screen, a 35.4-inch 4K panoramic display, and a flat-bottom steering wheel. Passengers also benefit from 25-speaker premium British Sound audio and a 4L cooled storage box.
The second row receives zero-gravity seats, while all doors include soft-close technology. Avatr also introduced a new “Sunny Blue” exterior paint, with self-healing coating against fine scratches. These thoughtful details enhance the sense of luxury and durability.
Crucially, intelligent features are standard across the lineup. The SUV is equipped with a 192-line LiDAR, three 4D millimeter-wave radars, and Huawei’s ADS 4.0 advanced driving system. This system provides reliable support in complex conditions, from tight parking spaces to low-light night driving.
HarmonyOS 5 debuts with MoRA AI model integration, enabling natural interactions. Drivers can issue commands in colloquial language and still get accurate results. The “Encyclopedia” function even explains dashboard alerts in plain words.
Safety is another highlight of the Avatr 07. It comes with nine airbags as standard, including extended side airbags for rear passengers. In the latest C-NCAP test, Avatr 07 ranked first among midsize SUVs.
The SUV also debuts “Approach Exit,” an innovative feature that lets the car drive itself out of tight parking spots via smartphone command. This reduces inconvenience when carrying shopping bags or traveling with family. Importantly, many of these functions will also roll out to existing Avatr 07 owners via OTA updates starting September 25.
Driving comfort is enhanced by front and rear zero-gravity seats and the Yunduan intelligent chassis system. Road preview technology scans the road ahead and adjusts suspension damping in milliseconds. Combined with motion sickness prevention technology, it ensures a smooth and pleasant ride even on rough roads.
The 2026 Avatr 07 represents a complete evolution. With its powerful performance, 333 km pure EV range, Huawei ADS 4.0, and luxury-standard interior, it sets a new benchmark for intelligent SUVs under ¥300,000.
